Every year we hold a summer party for all members and their families! With face painting, a BBQ, entertainment for children of all ages and most years... sun!

 

NEARLY NEW SALE

Grab a bargain at our bi annual nearly new sales! With only trusted, known sellers, the sales are always well attended with lots of bargains to be had, low commissions for sellers and lots of opportunity to help out the committee on the day and be a helper for a reduced commisson!

 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Every new year we hold our AGM and all are welcome to attend to hear about how the club is doing and suggest new ideas for how the club can continue to strive and offer members excellent value for money! First drink is always on us too!

 

MUMS ON THE RUN FITNESS CLUB

Lead by one of our twin mums Sarah,they meet up Tuesday evenings once the kids are in bed (7.30-8.30pm) for any twin mums and their friends where we go on 5km runs around Solihull, have boot camp training sessions and enter into organised runs and events as a team to either raise money for the club, another charity or just for fun! Get fit and have fun at the same time! In 2014 we have done the Knowle Fun Run, Pretty Muddy Birmingham and the Coventry 10km! In 2015 we are entering the Wolf Run, Knowle Fun Run, Birmingham City 10km and finally the Birmingham Half Marathon!

 

TWIN MUM NIGHT OUT

Bring a friend along if you want to and come and join us at a local, atmospheric bar with drinks and meal deals! It's the perfect chance for you to meet up with your twin mum friends enjoy a drink! Remember, your first drink is on us!

TWIN TALK

These are our very own independent twin talks held at Whar Hall Road Community Centre for expectant parents of twins or more. With real life experiences and real life parents presenting funny, detailed and personal stories on what they went through, from pregnancy to 5 years, it will be a fantastic opportunity to meet some of the committee members and other families in the same position. £5 charge per couple will apply, refreshments provided. Monday 2nd February 7pm is the next one.



PLAYGROUP

We have arranged a special discounted entry fee for all our members at a fantastic local playgroup called Jolly Mixture! Every Friday, 9.50-11am and when you show your membership keyring, its only £3.50 for twins 18 months or younger and £4 for all other ages over 18 months! Free drinks and biscuits, lots of play time, singing, bubbles, paracute and a special visit from a mascot each week! We also hold our very own monthly drop in playgroup which is run by our committee members and dedicated volunteers! Check out the EVENTS page for more information!

 

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Every December we have a huge Christmas party with a visit from Santa, yummy food and sweet treats, entertainment, songs and lots of fun! This is a free party for all of our members as our way of saying thanks for being with us and of course, to wish you all a Merry Chrisrmas!

 

CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY AND JOIN IN!

We are always looking for new committee members who want to have a part in ensuring the club can continue to offer all the things we do and make some much needed money to put on events! Its a volunteer role that brings a lot of rewards for not very much input and a chance to build close relationships with other twin mums on the committee! We also have fun committee get togethers every now and then so we can come up with ideas for new events!
